- someone I can talk to that does? I have a file called AMICDR17.LHA
- which has a device file for the CDROM. My question is: how do I setup
- the mountlist file so that the CDROM can be accessed like a regular
- device.
-
- I am still using Workbench 1.3 (I know... everyone will say "UPGRADE")
- and was able to load the device file in memory and mount "CD0" but I
- cannot access the CDROM in the drive. I believe it's just a matter of
- the mountlist entry being correct.
-
- I am using a GVP HD+ SCSI Hard Drive and interface. The CDROM unit is
- a Sony CDU-541-41. There is no conflict with the SCSI address and using
- SysInfo, I can see the CDROM unit on the SCSI bus but any attempt to
- test or access the drive through this software locks up the system.
-
- Thanks in advance for any input!
